Currently the Brewers are in a four way tie for first place with the Reds, Cardinals, and the crappy Cubs. All of their records are 9-9 (.500). Since we started out 0-4 I think that being 9-9 now is pretty damn good, especially since we do not have our most famous offseason acquisition, Zach Greinke. I think that Zach Greinke is an idiot for his bonehead move and getting hurt playing a pick-up game of basketball. If you are a professional athlete I think you should be a little more careful and not get hurt right when you come to a new team. Not a good way to start in Milwaukee, Zach. However he is pitching simulated and minor league games and he is looking great! His stuff is so nasty. Hopefully he is not a further disappointment in
Milwaukee, and he lights it up when he's on the mound. One other thing he needs is a HAIRCUT!
The Brewers so far this season are quite surprising. They go into
Nationals Park and get swept by the nationals, which was quite a disappointment. Then right after that they have to go into
Citizens Bank Park and face the Phillies and their amazing pitching rotation. No one really had high expectations for that series. The Brewers went in their and dominated them the first two games. Everyone was a little surprised. Then their series finale they are up 3-0 and I'm thinking they are going to sweep one of the best teams in baseball. However they could not come through in the end, but I still feel positive about their series against the Phillies.
My expectations for the Brewers this season are to be above .500. If I had to make a prediction, I would say they will be 88-74, and make it to the playoffs. I watch almost every game, so if you want to talk about the Brewers, or disagree with me about something, COME AT ME!
Zach Greinke is a beast just had to throw that out there did you see tuedays game that he pitched? Anyways I would have to agree with you for the most part I do feel the Brewers are improving but its still a working franchise. I also agree with them going above .500 and having them make the playoffs. But the season just started so there is still alot of up's and down's in the season. Baseball is a different game and its based off who is on a hot strike at the end of the season cant wait to see more Brewer post.
